World Card-Making Day with Auburn Lane
Saturday 3rd October 2020 was World Card Making Day, and it had been quite a while since I had created any cards, so I seized the opportunity to get back into card making.
As Autumn is now well and truly upon us, I wanted to make some cards with a more autumnal colour scheme - think deep forest greens, mustard yellows and rich browns. My mind went back to the Pink Paislee 'Auburn Lane' which was released in 2018. The colours and icons in this collection make it one of my top favourites, but I confess there was quite a few embellishments I struggled to use on my scrapbook layouts, and I ended up with quite a few paper scraps and bits and pieces I was not sure what to do with. I love challenging myself to use up all of my crafty leftovers in some way or another so they don't go to waste or gather dust on the shelf, so this seemed like the perfect chance to stash-bust.
I ended up making 5 4"x6" cards with a variety of simple sentiments:
Thanks for looking and I hope you had a fun World Card Making Day! x
